About LC Busre

Our Origins

LC Busre’s origins go all the way back to the year 1993, when the company was formed as a cargo transportation enterprise, with the aim of providing services of moving goods by air, acting as a Cargo Agent (Freight Forward).
In the year 1998, In 1998, LC Busre ventured into the airline business.
Exhaustive evaluation revealed that the regional segment was being neglected, reason for which the company’s positioning was concluded. Starting from that point, the arduous airline certification process begun.
In the year 2001, after a certification process before the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA - USA) and the General Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGAC – Peru), regular flight operations were initiated.
After much success, a second aircraft was incorporated in the year 2003; thus, increasing our destination points, with two major cities of Peru.
Near the middle of the year 2004, a third aircraft was incorporated, thus, increasing our destination points to four. By that time, all routes were served with daily flights.
In the year 2005, after succeeding in regular flights, we inaugurated our new ‘Charter Flights’ business unit; (private flights for passengers and cargo).
Continuing with the planning established by the Company’s Senior Management, during the second semester of the year 2008, a fourth aircraft was incorporated. Near the ending of that year, 6 destinations were being served with daily, direct flights.
During the first trimester of the year 2009, seven destinations will be served, originating from Lima.
Two more aircrafts have been incorporated to our fleet (Actual fleet has 6 aircrafts)
